Nerissa Goco, a Vancouver-based designer and abstract painter, seamlessly blends her graphic design background with bold and playful aesthetics in her paintings. With a degree from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, she initially worked as a graphic designer on diverse projects.

Motherhood marked a pivotal turn, inspiring the creation of The New Domestic—a brand that resonated with a global audience. Nerissa's distinctive artistic voice and aesthetic caught the attention of publications such as Anthology Magazine, Frankie, Style at Home, and Design*Sponge.

Inspired by a myriad of creatives and artisans, she immersed herself in the realm of painting—a space where rules fade, and canvases become stories told through shapes and patterns. Her paintings embody a colourful and bold aesthetic, deftly balancing the structured world

of graphic design with an organic chaos that reflects real life.
